According to the news circulating in the media, a former Co-founder of the South African Satanic Church, Riaan Swiegelaar, has disclosed why he abandoned the Church to become a Christian. He was the Presiding Priest of the Satanic Church before he resigned and embraced Jesus.
He said he abandoned the church and converted to Christianity because the four Christians he was close to showed him the unconditional love of Christ. Adele Frey, one of the four Christians he said showed him love came to his aid when he was almost an "ugly monster". He said he never believed that Jesus Christ existed until a Christian woman who was among the four believers hugged him in a way he had never been hugged. He said he has not experienced such love before.
He also narrated the encounter he claimed to have had with Jesus after his conversion. He said he was in the process of performing a ritual to wield more power when Jesus appeared to him. "I told Him to prove that He is Jesus Christ because I heard He overflows with the most beautiful love and energy", he continued. He said Jesus proved himself and he recognized him immediately. According to him, he realised how much Christ loved him after the encounter.
