Oyo lawmaker facilitates police recruitment for constituents



 The lawmaker representing Oyo North Senatorial District at the Senate, Senator Abdulfatai Buhari, tasked the newly recruited youths into the Nigeria Police Force from Oke-Ogun and Ogbomoso areas of Oyo State to be good ambassadors of the area.

The lawmaker said all the 65 newly recruited members of his constituency would join the numerous others he had facilitated their employment with the police in recent times.

To make their training a huge success in the ongoing 2021/2022 police recruitment training exercise, Buhari also provided logistics including financial assistance to all the beneficiaries.

He urged them to be of good conduct during their six months training exercise

The successful candidates are to resume at Police Training School, Ibadan, between July 23 and July 30, 2022 for their training exercise.

He said, “I am very happy and hereby congratulate our successful candidates in the just concluded police recruitment exercise. They all passed the final examinations and underwent the screening and medical stages successfully.

“I urge you all to be good ambassadors of Oyo North like your predecessors who just passed out early this month. I wish you well.”

Each of the local government in Oyo North’s 13 local government areas was given five slots each, with Oke Ogun getting the largest number of 50 slots
