Chief Dumo Lulu Briggs, who promised to run an inclusive government if he emerged as the Governor of Rivers State in 2023, affirmed the claim by the people that he is close to Governor Wike and also noted that he is close to other top politicians in the state because he doesn't play the politics of bitterness. He, however, noted that his closeness to Gov. Wike does not serve as an indication that he should gift him the governorship seat after his tenure, because it is not something that is gifted just like that, as Gov. Wike needs to access him based on their relationship, his agenda for Rivers State people and others.
