2023: APC frets over Obi's growing supports—the former presidential spokesman, Ruben Abati says in video

 

A popular journalist and former spokesman to former president Jonathan, Ruben Abati, has taken to post on his verified Twitter handle where he said that the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC, seems to be highly disturbed by the growing supports for the ambition of the former governor of Anambra State and presidential candidate for the Labour Party, Peter Obi.

It is surprisingly becoming evident that Nigerians, expecially the youths, put more interest in participating in partisan politics in the era we are than ever before;

 Meanwhile, many have been clamouring for a better governance and that Nigeria should not be seen as bipartisan political system. Not only that, since 1999 when the country was geared towards achieving smooth progressive democracy, PDP and APC have been the holder of power.

The famous journalist has expressed his views based on the several aspects and observations taking from how Nigerians on the social media and in diaspora are wooing supporters for the former governor. Even in the Northern part of the country where he is expecting minimum support, has been forming one coalition or the order to promote Obi's emergence.

 To buttress the point further, the former aide to president Mohammad Buhari, Bashir Ahmed, also confirmed the claim, said that when he went to Sokoto, Katsina and Kaduna, he was surprised to see massive followers of Obi more than 85%.
