late Gospel singer, Osinachi Nwachukwu will be laid to rest today at her hometown, Isochi Umunneochi in Abia State. Her body has arrived the venue of funeral mass in Abia State. Osinachi's family members are ready to receive her and in a live video shared by BBC News Pidgin, all is set for the funeral service.

Recall that Osinachi Nwachukwu before her death was a gospel artist who God used mightily to share his word through songs. After she died, her husband was arrested and remanded in Kirikiri prison after he was accused of committing homicide. The twin sister of Osinachi, Amarachi Eze told Abuja High Court that Osinachi's husband hit her on her chest while she was pregnant and also used mopping stick to beat her. She said Osinachi didn't die as a result of ulcer she developed after her husband stopped providing for the family, or as a result of cancer, adding that she died as a result of the maltreatment from her husband.

She also said that the house which they live in was built by her sister, and yet Osinachi's husband starved her. She also
said that Osinachi's husband was the one collecting money from those who invited Osinachi to their church for ministration, and that on several occasion, her husband refused to give her pocket money.
