Several leaders among them Jimmy Wanjigi of Safina, Ekuru Aukot and Ruben Kigame were all kicked out of the race after they failed to meet the set requirement by the IEBC.
However, some interesting highlights were witnessed after a presidential aspirant burnt his ID card in protest after IEBC disqualified him.

On the other hand, Wanjigi and the two presidential leaders have organized a joint presser ready to make a major announcement.
During the presser, the three famous leaders have promised to go to court to stop Azimio and Raila Odinga from vying for the presidency.
According to the team, the whole Azimio coalition giving a ticket to one person is illegal and they will work day and night to stop the move.
