Recent PDP Events Show Atiku Will Be Overbearing If Elected President" -Ex-PDP Chieftain, Afegbua [VIDEO]


A former commissioner of Edo State, Kassim Afegbua, has said the recent developments within the PDP show that the presidential candidate of the party, Atiku Abubakar, may be dictatorial if he eventually becomes the country's president.

Speaking on TVC News, the former confirmed that he recently resigned from the party and that he foresaw the current developments after zoning the presidency was jettisoned in the party.Addressing the ongoing differences between PDP leaders, Kassim said, "It is not about taking difficult decisions, but about not staying through to decisions."

A party is not owned by an individual. There are statutory organs and people who unite to make decisions for the party because the candidate can not approximate all the whims and caprices of the party. Secondly, in the decision-making process of a party, there has to be constructive engagement and collective bargaining to ensure that the right decisions are made after considering all the forces and creating an aggregate balance that makes decisions collective and binding on all.2023:

You know you were doing something wrong at the beginning, but you take what appeals to your sensibilities instead of making a correction at the onset. I am waiting to see how much reconciliation they will do. Recent events show that the candidate, Atiku Abubakar, will be overbearing if he becomes Nigeria's president. So much is left to be desired if you cannot adhere to the decisions of your party.
