We Want Africa To Be Like Europe - Pogba Says As He Visits His Hometown And Receives Heroic Welcome.

Arguably, one of the best players in the world today is Paul Pogba. The French International happens to be one of the best players Manchester United has ever had, considering his performance over the years, and the records he has created in his football career.
Paul Pogba is known to be a French player because he plays for France's national team, and because of this, many people don't know he's related to Africa. While Pogba plays for France national team, his brothers, who are also footballers, play for an African team; however, many people don't know why that is.
Paul Pogba's country of birth is France, which means he was born in France; however, his origin is Guinea. Pogba's parents are not French; rather, they are Africans. This means that Pogba has dual citizenship - one by birth (in France) and the other by naturalization (in Guinea).
So, he is a Guinea citizen as much as he is a France citizen
Thus, while all players are currently on summer break and having different vacations with their families and loved ones, Pogba has taken out time to visit his hometown in Guinea. He was seen in a jeep yesterday in Guinea with an African attire popularly known as "Agbada." The people of Guinea gave him a heroic welcome as bike men and people surrounded his Jeep and shouted his name.
In a video released, Pogba was also seen waving to the people, and joy was on his face to be back in his hometown.
The French player landed in Conakry, and on the first day of his visit, he gave some words of encouragement for Guinea.
In his words, he said:
"We only want peace, respect, and progress. We also want Africa to be like Europe, moving forward because we also have this wealth, we have a lot of love and joy. So, peace, peace, peace is needed."
Below are some pictures extracted from the video, showing how people welcomed the French International:
