The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Thursday arrested one hundred and forty (140) suspected internet fraudsters in Ikorodu area of Lagos.

The anti-graft agency revealed the identities of 140 Yahoo Boys through its verified social medial handle.
EFCC said it nabbed 140 suspects in a separate operations conducted by the anti-graft agency men through credible intelligence information. Among the hotels raided by the agency were Lakers Lounge, Bar and De Butlers in Ikorodu, Lagos State.
Items recovered from the suspects were exotic cars, electronic devices, laptop computers and mobile phones during the comb of the hotels. EFCC said all arrested suspects except four with no incriminating gadgets will be charged to court as soon as the agency concluded its investigation.
EFCC said it would not relax its efforts in fighting against financial crimes in the country. It charged citizens in the country to give them relevant information about perpetrators of internet frauds.
