Abdulaziz DanladiAbdulaziz Danladi, a lawmaker in Nasarawa, has defected from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to the Action Alliance (AA).
Mr Danladi, chairman of the House Committee on Works, Transport and Housing, while addressing a crowd of supporters in Keffi on Sunday said he defected due to injustice done to him during the APC primary election.
The lawmaker further explained that he defected to AA to pursue his House of Representatives ambition for Keffi/Kokona/Karu federal constituency at the Nasarawa House of Assembly.
A group, Abuja School of Social and Political Thoughts, has warned Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) not to take the country to inglorious days, when impunity reigned, by substituting the names of validly elected candidates in the just concluded political parties’ primaries with people that did not participate in the process.
The group also advised INEC to ensure its actions are guided by the Electoral Act to avoid external manipulations by anti-democratic elements.
It gave the warning at the weekend via a statement issued by its Director, Dr. Sam Amadi.
The Abuja School told INEC to reject the fraudulent and false submissions of candidates by parties.

The warning came against the backdrop of the controversy surrounding the submission of the names of Senate President Ahmad Lawan and Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Godswill Akpabio.
Members of the ruling All Progressives Congress and the Peoples Democratic Party in Imo North Senatorial zone of Imo State have collapsed their structures into the Labour Party.
They also pledged their loyalty and support for its presidential candidate and former governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi.
Over two thousand members of the two political parties reportedly joined the Labour Party in a ceremony at Umuaro community in the Isiala Mbano Local Government Area of the state.
Former Deputy Chief of Staff to a former governor of the state, Chikwem Onuoha, who spoke at the ceremony, on Sunday, said the decision was to ensure that Nigeria is rescued from its misrule which has put untold hardship on its citizens.

tial candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has revealed how some party big shots conspired against him. That was before the presidential primaries which was held at Eagle Square, Abuja.
Tinubu said at the palace of Oba of Lagos, Rilwan Akiolu on Sunday evening after he returned from Abuja.
In the recent presidential primary election, tinubu defeated, former transport Minister, Rotimi Amaechi, Vice-President, Yemi Osinbajo, and others.
The next political combat will be the February 2023 presidential election when he, Atiku and Peter Obi of Labour will enter the same ring.
