Tinubu's Victory: What Igbo Leaders Said After The APC National Leader Defeated Umahi and Others

 Following the emergence of a Former Governor of Lagos State and APC National Leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the 2023 Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress, The Apex Igbo Socio-cultural Organization, Ohanaeze Ndigbo has reacted to the Development. It will be recalled that Tinubu defeated a Former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi; Nigeria's Vice-president, Professor Yemi Osinbajo and Nine others to win the APC Presidential Primaries held in Abuja.

Speaking through the Secretary General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Mazi Okechukwu Isiguzoro, the Group lamented the refusal of the Two Leading Political Parties in Nigeria, the PDP and APC to pick their Candidates from the South-East Region adding that it would come with a Consequence.

Six Presidential Aspirants from the South-East Region participated in the APC Presidential Primaries with Ebonyi State Governor, David Umahi who secured the highest votes among them polled 38 votes. Isiguzoro said Ogbonnaya Onu appropriately spoke the mind of the Ndigbo while speaking at the Eagle Square Venue of the APC Presidential Primaries when he asked, Where is the Justice?



The Ohanaeze Ndigbo Scribe however urged the Youths to continue with the ongoing Massive Campaign for Collection of Permanent Voters Card (PVC) as he said it is a proof that their super fire power on Social Media can be converted to real votes.
